    Folks,

Christmas, Hanukkah, Boxing Day, etc the holiday season, whatever you celebrate, it was a time for enjoying family and for exchanging gifts. And in my family 2 of us gave AND received the gift of VR. You may recall that I turned my sister and her son on to VR from this thread. Well it gave both ME and her son an idea. I got him a VR headset plus bluetooth headphones for his iPhone. The cardboard type, but made of plastic. And HE got the same for his mother! lol! Both were well received!

So did anyone else get or give VR for the holidays? What was it? Please share your story with us!

I was separately gifted a phone and a gift certificate I used on a Headset. I'll be taking the plunge into VR soon as the headset arrives. It's all budget level, but I'll be in there!

I was gifted a Cricket Branded Idol 3 (5.5) w/ Android. The VR headset was a separate find.

For Windows Phone I might try out my Lumia 1520.

Well, as a student I am saving in order to get a google cardboard soon
Well, since it is the holidays I may think about indulging myself with a cheaper headset, which will provide a better experience than the cardboard. Maybe the GearVR, who knows.

Me and my wife got a Oculus Rift for ourselves for the holiday. I enjoy it. She hasn't gotten to try it yet.

Why do I picture you strapped in and oblivious while she stands behind you tapping her toes in annoyance?
