I have read somewhere that Nexus 6P is the last Nexus to support Daydream? Is this true?

An updated list of daydream ready phones would be greatly appreciated.

Nexus 6p is the last Nexus phone as the Pixel phones are the replacements. The Nexus 6p phone haven't been announced to support Daydream yet. It's got the new android update though, Nougat 7.0.

Here is a quote from google

"The 6P's thermal performance is not representative of the consumer Daydream-ready devices that will be launching later this year"

so i think the phone does not live up to the spec Google has in mind for the ideal Daydream experience.

Yes,I read somewhere too that it will be hard for 6p users to use daydream because thermal issue while using it!Maybe Google will fix this problem by finding a way to let users use daydream with their Nexus!

I'm pretty sure they announced that the 6P was going to be the first Daydream compatible device back when they first announced it at Google I/O earlier this year, but it's possible they've changed their minds?

I think the problem is with the processor. Not the phone. The screen resolution is OK but The Snapdragon 810 wasn't the greatest processor and was plagued with heating issues. More devices will come out in 2017 which will have the 820, 821,825 or 830 and that means lots of devices have the opportunity to become compatible.

    Exciting times!
