I'm considering making the switch from apple to android. The biggest reason is I love Google. I wasn't planning on switching, but with the recent release of iPhone 7 being nothing great and their constant iOS updates slowly rendering my phone obsolete(iphone6) then Google came out with Pixel. So my Question is which Pixel to get for Daydream. PixelXL or just Pixel?

Of course the Pixel XL supports Daydream. It's basically the go-to device by google with Daydream support. Personally, I'm gonna get the XL one as it offers a higher resolution. Also the bigger screen should provide a better FOV for better VR immersion.

Both of the pixel phone work with google daydream. In fact the XL should work better with daydream then the smaller pixel.

Go with the XL, it has QuadHD (better for VR) and you may want to opt 128GB if you plan using VR extensively

There are 2 phones that support Daydream right now, the Pixel/Pixel XL and the Asus Zenfone 3 (don't quite remember which edition).

Hi Craftmaniac. To get the best of Google daydream. It's best to have the Pixel phones or any daydream ready phones with a high resolution screen. In this case, the Pixel XL has a higher resolution to the Pixel. So for the best experience for google daydream at this time will be the Pixel XL. As you will get more visual immersion because of the higher resolution screen.

Right now the Pixel and Pixel XL are the only phones that support Daydream.

Maybe a few older ones will to, but only after they get updated to Nougat 7.1

Both the Pixel and Pixel XL were "built" for daydream, according to Google
