Asked: Dec 06 2017 | 12:05 pm EST 11348 Views 4 Answers

Hi. I just received my Daydream headset two days ago. I am trying to figure out how to adjust the focus. At times it is somewhat clear, but other times it get blurry. Is there a way to fix this?

You CAN adjust the tautness of the device around your head and this can help a bit. Also some VR content is just like that, not always in sharp focus, OR will take an extra couple seconds to come in to sharp focus after it starts or when changing scenes. Your phone can make a difference to, by FAR my Note 8 (and when I had an S8) looked best, MUCH better than the Pixel, or Moto Z. If you ARE using a Samsung in there also make sure it's set to the best video resolution, which it's NOT out of the box. To change resolution, go to Settings, then Display, then Screen resolution.

I used mine for a full day thinking the same thing. Then noticed I hadn't taking the blueish film glass protector off of the inside.

As pkcable said, the devices resolution will have a big impact on the clarity of what you see. Phones like the Note 8 and the LG V30 will preform better than others.

I've also found that if you move the headset up and down and side to side helps some to find the best clarity. Then you can re-center it once you get it right.
