I'm looking over the experience site for Daydream, and saw that EA is brining Need For Speed to it. Now have to buy a Pixel and Daydream View, just for that.

Is there a game/experience/app that makes you consider dropping the coin for a Pixel?

I think if they do a stream from PC to the Daydream I may consider it, I mean, like having a Rift or Vive wireless.

Definitely looking forward to watching content on Netflix and some of the gaming experiences they have listed. I wish they would provide a more detailed description of what they are though.

For me it would be the ability to watch movies and TV shows in VR... That would be awesome... Also the ability to watch YouTube videos in 3D that the daydream VR has is really cool and makes for a compelling reason to buy it...

Yes, this would be a really great option. But I doubt they will do something like this

As a Gear VR user, one of the things I envy about the Daydream is the remote. I'd love to have some degree of hand tracking in mobile VR!

Honestly, apps or experiences that are super passive and just require you to sit there aren't really that impressive for me. I'm hoping for more experiences that utilize the motion controller and let me paint, pet, shoot or otherwise interact with my environment. With google cardboard, this just wasn't possible, but with the controller on google daydream, i'm excited at the possibilities!

With Google making Tilt Brush for Vive and the similarities to the Daydream controller, I would hope that Google makes a mobile version of Tilt Brush.

I'm having a hard time imagining how the Youtube VR works, I'm genuinely curious to try it and see. Or for that matter how Netflix will look on it.
Really the only thing I hope is that it doesn't make me motion sick.

Well my phone is officially asking for retirement! so maybe I will consider jump into a high price phone, but Still paying +$600 for a phone is more of that I think is reasonable, I hope the features totally justify the price, in that case there is a chance I look to buy something like the Pixel.

I think Google as a big tech company will develop the technology behind the Daydream and the Pixel series with at least a bit scalability and upgradeability

It's insane to pay +$600 for a phone every 6 months because a new feature, but when that feature is a better VR I really want that change..even if can can't afford it.

I'd love to see something Halo related, but considering Microsoft doesn't seem to like putting anything out for Android (and Google for WIndows 10), I'm not holding my breath.

I would like to be able to visit the places I can't get to physically. Use the streetview from google maps and travel the world. Walk around the cities of Europe, hike the great trails, ascend Everest, float in the space station, discover the surface of Mars. Now, I just need to figure a way to get a pixel, maybe I'll win one through https://gleam.io/VbAu9-ykIFoV

Personally, as a developer, I simply want to create new things in VR, ideas, worlds, etc. Other than that, watching videos is something I'd like to experience. Tried some cardboard solutions (also built a custom video player android app in VR) but I can't say I was really satisfied by the end results. Hopefully Daydream will change that.
