This is basically a new haptics technique usign Ultrasounds, so it can be a way to feel the AR.

What I like the most is that it's not just only being able to interact with AR but also feeling it!

What I hate the most is the need of a not totally portable set of little loudspeakers to achieve it, so I think in the coming year the main point will be to attach something to your wrist maybe that will do the same.

Well, having seen the HoloLens Minecraft demo and been blown away, this could open a new era of crafting games where you can grab the blocks, feel them, or in the future maybe even mold different materials into shape before creating entirely new shapes.

Very impressive. Count me in if there's ever a demo in Western Australia.....

Well previously @VirtuaTyKing posted here something good to read about it:

    https://forums.vrheads.com/vr-news-d...hings-vr-9126/

But so far @Ramrunner73 Ultrahaptics has been selling evaluation kits to developers for about $20,000 each, but I don't think they are doing public presentations.

    Welcome to the Forum BTW!
