The Meta 2 promises a higher resolution and better field of view than the HoloLens, but I'm wondering if it can sense the environment around you like the HoloLens can. I know they added the ability to sense your hands and such, but I wonder what the range / detail on that feature is.

Sometimes I wished I lived out on the West coast so I could be closes to the technology hubs where all of this is happening. Then I could just try it at a meetup or something.

I just knew about Meta like 2 days ago, and I was looking and found this: https://www.metavision.com/join-meta so, when will you move there? we need more info mate and you might be working with them (also we need some devices to test ourselves) lol.

I'll try to get a 360 video of the Meta when I'm at the Unity conference next week.

I doubt I'd have the skills to cut it on the west coast, honestly.
