Does anyone have a CastAR, or seen one in the real world?

Oh for sure if the price is right although if there tech is really good this seems like just the kind of company Micro$oft would buy up.

It was a Kickstarter project by a former Valve engineer a few years ago. They finished it and shipped the dev kits, and I believe there was a brief opportunity to buy dev kits, but now it seems you have to contact them to get one. I am really interesting in and and this device in particular - killing myself for not funding the Kickstarter...

I love the idea of the CastAR, but I feel like they missed their window. Technology like the HoloLens and the Meta 2 will make this obsolete pretty quickly.

For only $500 the Lenovo Tango-enabled phone will be out soon, and that will give people an AR-enabled environment sensing device at a relatively affordable price. I just don't know how CastAR can compete.
