Folks,

I was wondering if there are any good upcoming Tango phones? I have heard about the Lenovo and the Asus, but are there any other models coming out, or already out that we should be looking at and talking about? What is the best Tango phone? Do we really need Tango? Lets talk Tango!

The one that looks best to me is the ASUS ZenFone AR. It is designed to have both Tango and Daydream support.


Honestly I think that the next iOS device announced will have some sort of AR mode in it to rival Tango. I feel like handheld AR has more potential, initially, than devices like the HoloLens. People right now don't want to put on a headset, they just want their phones to do more. Once Apple gets into the game there will be a rapid acceleration of AR tech in phones.

I think the Asus is the Right now best answer, right brand, right size, both Daydream & Tango compatible.

But thinking about other devices, since last year are some rumors about the Moto Z having an attachment to be released which will make it Tango compatible too, so it can be interesting.

I have the Asus Zenfone ar and the daydream and AR capabilities of this beast are unreal.Asus really out did themselves on this one.
