The screen displayed in my Blitzwolf VR glasses is extremely narrow. Of course this is understandable since the screen is cut in half by displaying 2 images side by side, but
why don't the glasses expand the screen using a cinemascope type lens?

Since I just got into using VR goggles, maybe I am missing something. Are there goggles that do widen the screen? Is there some app or something to widen the image?

At it's core the Blitzwolf VR is just a glorified Google Cardboard. It's never gonna give you the experience of an HTC Vive or an Oculus Rift, or even a Gear VR. HOWEVER not all cardboard apps are created equal, some are better than others. Just try other cardboard compatible apps until you find one you like. OR if you have the computer for it, get an HTC Vive or Oculus. Or get a PSVR!
