    Hi,

I'm in somewhat of a dilemma.

I use a mac for my work as a content creator and am about to replace my mac pro with a maxed out mac book pro and eGPU combo.

I'm not sure whether to get a HTC vive pro which apparently works with Mac or spend a similar amount getting a Samsung odyssey plus and some sort of windows based head unit (processor, ram, hard drive) that can leaverage the eGPU.

Is there a way to benefit from the superior tracking of the Vive pro whilst using the odyssey?

Or should I just get the vive pro Mac setup and suffer the high price tag for plug and play convenience?

Thanks for any help and opinions.

    Spencer

Not a strong opinion, especially since I just switched back to PC from Mac, BUT I say stick with what you know! If you are already comfortable with the Mac platform, then stick with that. Additionally many creators and artistic types stick with Mac, and prefer the Final Cut Pro software, which is not available for Windows.
