What big changes are coming next year?

Hello,

I played a friends original oculus today and loved it.

Trying to decide whether to buy a Oculus Quest, or wait.

I guess Valve Index is the best atm, but I would need a new PC.. too much $$

Just wondering if any big changes have been announced.
