I have the 2nd gen Gear 360 and a Galaxy S8. There have been times that I've wanted to shoot with just one lens on the 360 and use an external mic for better audio quality. I know there's no external mic jack on the camera itself, but does anyone know of a way to plug a mic into the S8 and use that as the audio source?

Unfortunately, There is no way to route the audio from the phone to the camera. The issue is that the audio would be way out of sync, and because Bluetooth uses different transmission rates depending on a lot of variables, there would be no way of knowing how to fix the audio sync with a software solution.
