I've got a new PC. It's not VR ready for gaming. But Im kinda guessing watching videos in VR. eg: Youtube's VR page, it should be okay? Videos play okay on Youtube's VR page

Im yet to buy a headset, would they work in VR.

    Cheers.

Hi, welcome to the Forum, I invite you to register here so you can follow up this and any other question you may want to ask here.

Regarding to your question, which I think goes like:

Can I use a PC which doesn't reach the minimum specs for VR to simply watch 360 Videos?

And the answer is Yes, but, it will depend of which VR Headset or Head Mounted Display (HMD for short) you chose to get, for example, if the minimum requirements aren't reached for the Rift or ViVE you won't be able to even see the basics, like the configuration of the device (believe, I tried), but there are a lot of budget friendly HMD which doesn't require that many power or features to work with your PC.

Something like this could work depending of your new PC specifications http://forums.vrheads.com/e?link=htt...token=xdyKGY2i

But being honest and giving you a real advice, if you only want it for simple stuff like Youtube, you better go with the Oculus GO for 200 US$
