On my pc I only have one hdmi port which is used by the Samsung curved monitor. I have tried an HDMI splitter on the back of the pc and connect the hdmi cable from the monitor into one of the ports and the other port takes the hdmi cable from the VR headset with no issue. When I connect the usb cable into a usb socket on the pc the monitor loses the image and goes black.

Any help appreciated especially to make a 13 year old smile this weekend.

    Thank you in advance

It could be a setting. Right click on your desktop and then select Display settings, and look for a setting for multiple monitors.
