I have SI (sports illustrated app) that is mostly regular content but does have some virtual content. I currently have to start a video and then insert my phone into the vr headsed without plugging it in (like cardboard) but obviously have no control. I also have taken a screen shot while the video was playing (not in the headset) which was 2D side by side, and wonder if it's possible to view that in 360 in VR after saving to my gallery. I am new to this so I don't even know what the limitations are. Thanks in advance.

I might be wrong about this, but from what my understanding is, unless it's a VR 3D Video or photo you will not be able to, however I seem to recall an Ap that let's you take two shots and merge them into a 3D shot, though might not necessarily work with VR, someone else might know more. Hope this helps.
