    To me, the effect is noticeable on both, but with similar displays, there isn't that much difference to me.

    Personally I found the rift is slightly less noticeable then the Vive in my demo's I have tried but they do both have it. That is just my opinion on the matter.

    From what I have read on many forums, and from a video of the lens view of both (you can find it on youtube)-it is very clear that the Rift has less of a screen door effect. BUT it has a smaller FOV (that's why the Vive has more SDE-because the pixels the display FOV is bigger, and it uses the same resolution as on the Rift).
    I know it's really hard to choose between SDE and FOV. I didn't make up my mind yet myself!
