[VR Question]

OLED / amoled has better features for vr gaming, (faster refresh rate and movement tracking), but is it really worth the extra money simply for 180° vr porn with a basic headset (like google cardboard)? I have an option to get a very affordable LG G6 (5.7” screen, QHD/2k with very good pixel density for a phone at 565 ppi), but it’s an LCD. LCD doesn’t have the blacker blacks and speed/refresh rate, but does that even matter if I’m not using it for gaming, just for VR Porn?

What you're suggesting should work for VR Porn. Another option could be an affordable Daydream phone such as the Axon 7, Moto Z, OR the original Pixel, and of course a Daydream headset. And you could go the Oculus Go route too.
