    im only 9 month into my pc adventure coming from xbox so i dont know much about upgrading or things.
    im currently running a amd fx 4300 with a nvidia GTX 1050ti and 8gb of ram
    iv been looking at upgrading my cpu. my motherboard has a amd 3+ socket and iv been looking to either amd 8350 or 8370.
    could anyone help me so i can get in the world of VR

    Well your graphics card could be an issue. While some say it IS VR ready including Oculus, its certainly not the best at it.
