    I heard that it supports both the Gear VR and Daydream and I'm thinking of upgrading. Has anyone tried it? Does it work well?

    I want to get a device capable of developing for Android's new ARCore (My S6 doesn't cut it) and I saw the S8 is listed as a compatible device.

    I'm not sure. I'm still paying off my Note 5. My next phone will probably be a S9 or a Note 8, but that's at least six months down the road.

    The S8 is THE best Daydream compatible phone I gave ever used! (I had a Pixel, Moto Z and Pixel XL) I highly recommend it!
